چکیده
muscle. Three major histologic types are described: pleomorphic, embryonal, and alveolar.' The pleomorphic type arises from myotome-derived skeletal muscle (adult variety), the embryonal type originates from undifferentiated mcsoderm (juvenile variety), and the alveolar type is related to the embryonal type. Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma has been reported in dogs, either as locally infiltrating or advanced neoplasm. Although unusual sites of origin (orbital and sinonasal regions, abdominal wall) have been occasionally indicated. no primary omental cases have been reported. Microscopically. the typical alveolar feature generally leads to a correct diagnosis. even in the absence of important findings such as cross-striations, which can be difficult to demonstrate in poorly differentiated cases. Immunohistochemistry is a useful tool to confirm the histologic diagn0sis.j Positive immunostaining for myoglobin, a specific protein for striated muscle differentiation, is definitely diagnostic. In the present canine case, all histologic and immunohistochemical features suggested the diagnosis of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. References

Intradiploic Epidermoid Cyst of the Temporal Bone
Epidermoid cysts are benign. slow-growing. congenital lesions (2. 4. 11). Craniocerebral epidermoid cysts constitute approximately 1% of all cranial tumors (1. 9). Calvarial intradiploic epidermoid cysts are very rare. In 1838. Miller was the first to describe a diploic epidermoid cyst of the skull (2). According to Ciappetta et al.. total 223 cases had been reported up to 1990 (2). Because of ...

The goals of the present study were to analyze the accuracy of cytological techniques for the intra-operative diagnosis of central nervous system tumors. In this study, 50 patients with brain or spinal tumor (according to the previous physical examination and imaging studies) were evaluated in the neurosurgery center of Hazrat Rasoul-e-Akram Hospital. Cytological methods including touch, sc...
متن کاملAsymptomatic Bronchogenic Cyst in a 35-Year-Old Woman as an Incidental Finding
Bronchogenic cyst is a result of abnormal development of the ventral foregut presents as a discrete mass. Most commonly, it is appeared in the middle mediastinum and rarely is seen in adults. We report a 35-year-old woman who was asymptomatic and incidentally was found with a mass in chest radiograph.
متن کاملCase Report Epidermoid cyst of the ovary
Epidermoid cysts of the ovary are rare lesions and are uniformly incidental findings in hysterectomy specimens. They must be differentiated from mature cystic teratomas of the ovary, and some authors believe them to be monodermal teratomas. The histogenesis is still uncertain. We report an epidermoid cyst of the ovary which was an incidental finding.

It has long been established that histamine plays a role as a mediator of inflammation. From numerous studies, it has been well known that the amine has many pharmacological actions on a variety of organs. To evaluate the role of histamine in pain perception, we generated HDC knockout mice using a gene targeting method. Histamine is a hydrophilic autacoid, and in most tissues it is stored and s...
